Creme Fraiche Sauce For Pasta (Creamy Ravioli Sauce)

If you enjoy a bowlful of shop-bought ravioli for a quick weeknight dinner once in a while, you probably appreciate a good creme fraiche sauce for pasta to give your meal a delicious homemade feel! We sure do! And our Creamy Ravioli Sauce with garlic and herbs is our favourite one to use on any vegetable, mushroom or cheese-filled pasta dishes (ravioli, tortellini, agnolotti - it all works!)! What is more, it works great with smoked salmon or chicken pasta too!

Ingredients
 
 

  • 20 g unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoon creme fraiche
  • 2 tablespoon water
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon parsley
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions
 

  • Melt the butter in a small saucepan, add the salt, pepper and garlic powder and stir until salt dissolves.
  • Add the creme fraiche and parsley, and stir to combine.
  • Add just enough water to thin the sauce. Serve with your favourite filled pasta or spaghetti with prawns, chicken or salmon!
